St. Mary's Cathedral was the setting Oct. 28, 2000, for the wedding of Linda LeGrand and Allan Lawson. Msgr. Richard Rolwing performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Lenny Kuper and soloist was Alan Bruns, both of Cape Girardeau. Reader was Lisbeth Hostetler of Columbia, Mo.

Ralph and Verneda LeGrand of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Isaac and Alice Lawson of High Ridge, Mo.

Matron of honor was Amy Edwards and bridesmaids were Kathy McLain and Cheryl Market, all of Cape Girardeau and sisters of the bride.

Warren Schaffer of High Ridge was best man. Groomsmen were Paul Hollis of High Ridge and Robert Zuniga of House Springs, Mo. Ushers were Steve LeGrand of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride, and Lee Lawson of High Ridge, brother of the groom.

Candlelighters were Crystal and Shawn McLain, children of Randy and Kathy McLain and niece and nephew of the bride.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Chleo and Adam LeGrand, children of Steve and Mary LeGrand and niece and nephew of the bride.

Marsha Proctor and Christy Missy attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City, Mo. Servers were June Worth, Carla Nall, Lynda Strauser, LaDonna Hengst and Jill Lawson.

Mrs. Lawson is area sales manager at Famous-Barr in Crestwood, Mo.

The groom is a diagnostic medical sonographer at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in High Ridge.
