GORDONVILLE -- Rebecca Ann Koerber and Christopher Lee Muench were united in marriage June 26, 1999, at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Schwiesow performed the double ring ceremony. Soloists were Susan Koerber, sister of the bride, and Brandon Schwiesow, both of Gordonville. Organist was Susan Koerber.
Parents of the bride are Paul and Bernice Koerber of Gordonville. The groom is the son of Kevin and Phyllis Mayfield of Jackson.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
Billi Knight of Oak Ridge was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Martha Floyd of Oak Ridge, aunt of the groom; Susan Koerber; Debbie McNeely of Cairo, Ill., sister of the bride; and Stacy Bohnert of Jackson.
Best man was Darren Scherer of Cape Girardeau. Groomsmen were Brad Floyd of Oak Ridge, uncle of the groom; Andrew Muench of Frohna, cousin of the groom; Jim McNeely of Cairo, brother-in-law of the bride; and Justin Koerber of Gordonville, brother of the bride. Ushers and candlelighters were Dustin Mayfield of Jackson, brother of the groom, and Brandon Gerecke of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride.
Miniature bride was Hailey Koerber, daughter of Susan Koerber and niece of the bride. Miniature groom was Jaron Muench, son of Brian and Barb Muench of Emporia, Kan., and cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Paige McNeely, daughter of Jim and Debbie McNeely of Cairo and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Joshua Muench, son of Matt and Robin Muench of Indiana and cousin of the groom.
Nicole Cook of Jackson, cousin of the groom, attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Amanda Mayfield of Jackson, sister of the groom, and Staci Floyd of Oak Ridge, cousin of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner and dance was held at the American Legion Hall in Jackson. Servers were Sherri Gerecke, aunt of the bride; Mary Muench of Frohna and Linda Cook of Jackson, aunts of the groom.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at the church hall.
Mrs. Muench is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at Lowes in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed at Wal-Mart Supercenter in Jackson.
After a wedding trip to Arlington, Texas, the couple resides in Daisy.
