Misty Lyn Koch and Stephen Curtis Dunning were united in marriage May 20, 2000, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The Rev. Douglas Breite performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Marty Roth of Cape Girardeau. Vocalist was Rodney Fowler of Mississippi, cousin of the groom.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas W. Koch of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dunning of Jackson, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hodgkiss of Scott City, Mo.

Maid of honor was Shelly McCoy of Cadiz, Ky., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jill Morrow of Cape Girardeau, Christy Bebej of Plainfield, Ill., and Stacey Wadlow of Cape Girardeau.

Roy Jennings of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Jared Goodson of Jackson, Jason Morrow of Cape Girardeau, and Todd Koch of Coon Rapids, Minn., brother of the bride. Ushers were Terry Koenig and Scott Fritsche of Jackson. Koenig was also candlelighter.

Flower girl was Alexa Kelpe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kelpe of Jackson. Ringbearer was Landon Morrow, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason Morrow.

Julie Fiehler of Cape Girardeau, aunt of the bride, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Route 25 Hall in Jackson. Servers were Amy Goodson of Jackson and Toni Essner of Scott City.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 19 at their home.

Mrs. Dunning is a 1994 graduate of Central High School, and expects to graduate from Southeast Missouri State University in December.

The groom is a 1992 graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed by Ryder Transportation.

The couple resides in Jackson.
