Laurie Ann Ingram and Neil Thomas Birchler exchanged vows Nov. 25, 2000, at Centenary United Methodist Church. The Rev. Clayton Smith performed the double ring ceremony. Flutist was Heather Wissore of Patton, Mo.

Mike and Linda Ingram of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Phil and Debbie Birchler of Sparta, Ill.

Maid of honor was Tiffany Biggerstaff of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Kristen Beckly and Melissa Birchler, sister of the groom, both of Sparta.

Nick Birchler of Sparta served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Randy Bergman of Kansas City, Kan., and Brock Alspaugh of St. Charles, Mo. Ushers were Doug Ackenhausen and Sam Petty II of St. Louis.

Candlelighters were Janelle Chapman of Lexington, Ky., and Jennifer Bormett of Madison, Wis., cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Drury Lodge.

The rehearsal dinner was held Nov. 24 at Port Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Birchler attended Southeast Missouri State University and the University of Missouri at Rolla. She received a bachelor of science degree in management systems and economics in December 2000.

The groom also attended Southeast University and the university at Rolla. He expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in engineering management in December 2001.

The couple is residing in Chesterfield, Mo.
