JACKSON, Mo. -- Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Waterloo, Ill., was the setting for the wedding of Alison Renee Henry and Scott Uelsmann Oct. 7, 2000. The Rev. Edwin Hustedde performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Linda Mueller, and soloist was Kristi Kish. Readers were Richard Toenjes, uncle of the bride, and Scott Henry, cousin of the bride.
The bride is the daughter of Gene and Diane Henry of Waterloo. The groom is the son of Marcia and Harold Stone of Jackson, and Herman and Brenda Uelsmann of Cape Girardeau.
Matrons of honor were Angela Bode and Dana Kueker, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Emily LaCroix; Cathy Toenjes, cousin of the bride; Missy Henry and Nancy Henry, sisters-in-law of the bride.
Keith Uelsmann, brother of the groom, and Ray Davis were best men. Groomsmen were Mark Powell, cousin of the groom; Tim Kueker, brother-in-law of the bride; Wayne Henry and Mark Henry, brothers of the bride. Ushers were David Bode, brother-in-law of the bride, and Chris Toenjes, cousin of the bride.
Miniature bride was Mikayla Hoefft, cousin of the bride. Miniature groom was Logan Henry, nephew of the bride.
Ringbearers were Blake Henry and Brendan Kueker, nephews of the bride.
Candlelighter was Carolyn Henry, aunt of the bride.
Kim Everett attended the guest book. Kara Paubel was program attendant.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Royale Orleans in St. Louis.
The groom's family hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 6 at The Ridge Golf Course.
Mrs. Uelsmann is a 1994 graduate of Gibault Catholic High School in Waterloo. She received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Fontbonne College in 1998. She is a financial analyst at Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Jackson High School. He received an associate's degree in physical therapy from Sanford Brown College in 1997. He is a physical therapy assistant at RPI.
After a wedding trip to Sandals in Negril, Jamaica, the couple resides in St. Louis.
