Amee Louise Erber and the Rev. Mark Allen Boettcher were married July 2, 2000, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jackson, Mich. The Rev. Loren A. Boettcher, father of the groom, performed the double ring ceremony. Glenn Erber, father of the bride, was lector. Organist was Tim Frusti.
Parents of the bride are Glenn and Louise Erber of Jackson. The groom is the son of the Rev. Loren A. and Norma Boettcher of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Glynna Evert of Benton Harbor, Mich. Bridesmaids were Julee Shaw of Jackson and Betsy Block of Lansing, Mich., sisters of the bride.
The groom chose his brother, Joel Boettcher of Independence, Mo., as best man. Groomsmen were the Rev. Daniel Barbey of Mt. Olive, Ill., and the Rev. David Erber of Jos, Nigeria, brother of the bride.
Crucifer was Matthew Shaw of Jackson, nephew of the bride. Acolytes were Miriam and Charity Sunderman of Jackson, nieces of the bride.
Luke, Jonathan and Naomi Erber of Jos, nephews and niece of the bride, played Nigerian instruments and led the procession.
Guest book attendant was Joyce Erber of Jos, sister-in-law of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Trinity School gym. Servers were Hope Botwinski of Cape Girardeau and Joy Meyer of New Athens, Ill., sister of the groom; Bethanee Sunderman and Morgan Shaw of Jackson, nieces of the bride.
Mrs. Boettcher is a graduate of Jackson High School in Michigan, and Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Mich. She is an architect in Springfield, Mo.
The groom is a graduate of Central High School in Evansville, Ind., Concordia College in Ann Arbor, Mich., and Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He is pastor of Grace Lutheran Church at Aurora, Mo.
After a wedding trip to Kansas, Yellowstone, Tetons, Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands, the couple resides in Aurora.
