Leslie Hegan Church and Michael Eric Buck were married June 3, 2000, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Charleston, Ill. The Revs. Dale A. Beck and Mark L. Prevo performed the double ring ceremony. Music was by the LeVeck String Quartet of Mattoon, Ill.

Parents of the bride are Michael and Phoebe Church of Charleston, Ill. The groom is the son of the Rev. Charles and Pam Buck of Springfield, Mo.

Kim Rambicourt of St. Louis was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sherilyn Borders of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Ashley Church of Jerseyville, Ill., Kim Schuette of Itasca, Ill., McKinzie and Shelby Cloyd of Camp Point, Ill., all cousins of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Bekah Wittke, daughter of Ray and Patti Wittke of Charleston, Ill.

Chris Buck of Kansas City, twin brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Chad Borders of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the groom; Greg Hill of Nashville, Ill., and Jeff Cox of Kansas City, cousins of the groom; B.J. Wilken of Galesburg, Ill.; and Drew Church of Charleston, Ill., brother of the bride. Junior groomsman was Dane Church of Charleston, Ill., brother of the bride. Ushers were Mark Cox of Blue Springs, Mo., cousin of the groom, and Jeff Schuette of Charleston, Ill., cousin of the bride.

Candlelighters were Courtney Church of Jerseyville and Baillie Cloyd of Camp Point, cousins of the bride.

Flower girl was Jade Owen, daughter of Mike and Jill Owen of Charleston, Ill.

Kristy Hill of Nashville, Ill., cousin of the groom, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the Grand Ballroom at Eastern Illinois University Union.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 2 at E.L. Krackers Restaurant.

Mrs. Buck expects to complete a master of arts degree in speech/language pathology at Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is a graduate assistant in the Department of Communication Disorders at the university.

The groom received a master of science degree in sports management at Southeast University in May 1999. He is assistant director of recreational sports at the university.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
