JACKSON, Mo. -- Lanna Kay Cathcart and Kevin Lee Williams were married Sept. 9, 2000, at First General Baptist Church. The Rev. Luther Rhodes performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Cheryl Fortner, and vocalists were Cheryl, James and Aaron Fortner, all of Jackson.
Parents of the bride are Donald G. Cathcart and Judith K. Rose of Jackson. The groom is the son of Hursel A. and Mary L. Williams of Morley, Mo.
Matron of honor was Bobbie Cathcart of Jackson, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaid was Crystal Reid of Jackson.
Ricky Vaughn of Sikeston, Mo., served the groom as best man. Groomsman was Greg Messmer, brother-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Eric Cathcart of Jackson, brother of the bride, and Bill Barclay of Frohna, Mo.
Candlelighters were Tyler and Colby Cathcart of Jackson, nephews of the bride.
Ashley Cathcart, niece of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge. Servers were Kay Robins and Louise Page of Jackson.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 8 at the church.
Mrs. Williams is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed at SEMO Otolaryngology in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1991 graduate of Scott Central High School, and 1993 graduate of Linn Technical College. He is employed at Utility Trailers in Sikeston, Mo.
The couple resides in Benton, Mo.
