OAK RIDGE, Mo. -- Karen Kirsten Campbell and Russell Max "Rusty" Marks were married March 18, 2000, at First Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Gary Brothers performed the double ring ceremony. Soloist was Michael Land of Springfield, Mo. Music was also by Praise and Worship Band of House of Hope in Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the bride are Norman and Anna Mae Campbell of Oak Ridge. The groom is the son of Sharon Marks of Dixon, Ky., and the late Max Marks.
Ursulla Wadley of Cape Girardeau was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacy Creech of Cape Girardeau, Michelle Welker and Michelle Hohler of Jackson, Mo.
Best man was Steve Walker of California, Mo. Groomsmen were Michael Land, Jeff Coomes of Slaughters, Ky., and Brian Stull of Dixon, Ky., both brothers-in-law of the groom. Ushers were Jeff Campbell of Oak Ridge and Derek Campbell of Jackson, brothers of the bride, and Michael Lovig of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girl was Lauren Stull, daughter of Brian and Tina Stull of Dixon and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Collin Campbell, son of Jeff Campbell.
Candlelighters were Brittney Coomes of Slaughters, niece of the groom, and Dana Jones of Scott City, Mo.
Guest book attendants were Debbie Way and Laura Hopkins, sisters of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church. Servers were Jody Fitzgerald and Trish Doyle.
Mrs. Marks is a 1991 graduate of Jackson High School. She is a service representative with Ameritech.
The groom is a 1990 graduate of Webster County High School, 1992 graduate of Teen Challenge, and 1997 graduate of Central Bible College. He is youth pastor at Faith Assembly Church in Elburn, Ill.
The couple is residing in Elburn.
