ORAN, Mo. -- Guardian Angel Catholic Church was the setting July 29, 2000, for the wedding of Jami Leigh Bouge and Steven Lee Williamsen. The Rev. Lewis E. Hejna performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Susie Seyer of Oran, and soloist was Claudette Hency of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the bride are Donald Bouge and Paula Bouge of Oran. The groom is the son of David Williamsen and Debbie Williamsen of Marshall, Mo.
Matron of honor was Kami Durham of Marshall. Bridesmaids were Chrissy Fern of Roeland Park, Kan.; Sara Bouge of Oran, sister of the bride; Laura Williamsen of Dallas, Texas, sister of the groom; and Renee Proffer of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride.
Dennis Walling of St. Joseph, Mo., served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Brian Weese of Kansas City; Zachary Ramsey, Taylor Crouse and Joseph Alderman, all of St. Joseph. Ushers were Ryan Bouge of Oran and Kevin Williamsen of Marshall, brothers of the couple.
Flower girl was Lydia Moyers, daughter of Ben Moyers and Dana Lynch of Oran. Ringbearer was Hunter Graviett, son of Alan and Julie Graviett of North Richland Hills, Texas, and cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Oran.
The couple's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 28 at Drury Lodge.
Mrs. Williamsen is a 1997 graduate of Marshall High School, and attended Johnson Community College. She is employed at Willis, Banek, Ball and Fischer Orthodontics in North Carolina.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Marshall High School, and attended Missouri Western State University. He is stationed with the U.S. Marine Corps in Jacksonville, N.C., and is pursuing a degree in psychology at Campbell University.
The couple is residing in Swansboro, N.C.
