JACKSON, Mo. -- Virginia Lee Bohnsack and Jack Latimer were married Dec. 9, 2000, at New McKendree United Methodist Church. The Rev. John Rice performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Linda Thompson of Jackson, and soloist was Janet Hinze of Cape Girardeau.
The bride was presented in marriage by her son, John A. Bohnsack Jr. of Whitewater, Mo.
Matron of honor was Angela Koehnemann of St. Charles, Mo., daughter of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sheila Garland of Washington, D.C., daughter of the groom; Rhonda Windeknecht of Jackson and Jeanne Crackel of St. Peters, Mo., granddaughters of the bride.
Stanley Latimer of Jackson served his father as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Garland of Washington, D.C., son-in-law of the groom; Phil Hill of St. Louis; and Matthew Latimer of Jackson, grandson of the groom. Ushers were Eric Bohnsack of Whitewater, grandson of the bride, and Ryan Garland of Washington, grandson of the groom.
Candlelighters were Mary Beth Bohnsack of Leopold, Mo., granddaughter of the bride, and Ashley Latimer of Jackson, granddaughter of the groom.
Flower girl was Molly Qualls, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Qualls of Chaffee, Mo. Ringbearer was John Frederick Bohnsack of Leopold, grandson of the bride.
Jessica Bohnsack of Marble Hill, Mo., granddaughter of the bride, and Jessica Latimer of Jackson, granddaughter of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a reception and dinner was held at Delmonico's. Servers were Felicia Hill of St. Louis, granddaughter of the groom; Rachel Bohnsack of Sedgewickville, Mo., granddaughter of the bride; and Geraldine Bohnsack, daughter-in-law of the bride.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 8 at Delmonico's.
After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Jackson.
