BENTON, Mo. -- LaShea Suzanne Bohannon and John Alfred Worley Jr. were married Dec. 11, 1999, at La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Glen Bohannon, great-uncle of the bride, performed the double ring ceremony. Chris Nall of Cape Girardeau was organist, guitarist and soloist. Missy Curnell of Scott City, Mo., was also soloist.
Parents of the couple are Gary and Susie Bohannon and John and Freida Worley, all of Benton.
The bride chose her mother as matron of honor.
Best man was father of the groom. Ushers were David Worley, cousin of the groom, and Benji Bohannon, brother of the bride.
Miniature bride was Chassidy Ratley, daughter of Lisa Ratley of Willow Springs, Mo., and niece of the groom.
Flower girl was Kelsey Fellows, daughter of Carla Fellows and Steve Fellows of Jackson and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Gabriel Felter, son of David and Beverly Felter of Benton and cousin of the bride.
Audrey Riley, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Benton. Servers were Kim Trupiano, Julie and Stacy Schwartz, cousins of the bride.
The bride and groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 10 at the home of the bride's parents.
Mrs. Worley is a 1994 graduate of Kelly High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998, and a master's degree in speech pathology from Southeast in 2000. She is a speech/language pathologist with Early Childhood Special Education in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Kelly High School. He is employed at Havco Wood Products in Scott City.
The couple resides in Benton.
