Penny Ann Blandford and Scott Williams were married Nov. 27, 1999, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel. The Rev. Barry L. Pfanstiel performed the ceremony. Music was by Nicole Buehrle of Jackson, Mo., and Tracy Haggerty of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Chalmer and Norma Blandford of Perryville, Mo., and Dean and Dorothy Williams of Anna, Ill.
Brenda Amschler of Perryville was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Debra Schumer and Jackie Ahrens of Cape Girardeau. Junior bridesmaids were Jodie Blandford of Perryville, niece of the bride, and Chloe Williams of Anna, niece of the groom.
Best man was Tony Martin of Cape Girardeau. Groomsmen were David Valentine of Jackson and Doug Gannon of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Jason Blandford, nephew of the bride, Seth Amschler, both of Perryville, and Zack Martin of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girls were Holly Blandford of Perryville, niece of the bride, and Morgan Schumer of Cape Girardeau.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the A.C. Brase Arena.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner Nov. 26 at the arena.
Mr. and Mrs. Williams each received a bachelor of science degree in recreation from Southeast Missouri State University. Both are employed by city of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department.
After a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
