Lisa Gail Bergmann and Petty Officer 1st Class Josh Harrison Neumeyer were married March 3, 2001, in Ashburn, Va. The Rev. Stephen McWhorter performed the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Vivian and Ronald Bohnert of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Tom and Despo Neumeyer of Long Beach, Calif.
Maid of honor was Edy Solano of Alexandria, Va. Bridesmaid was Monica Charles of Silver Spring, Md.
John Neumeyer of Long Beach served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were John Lamkin of Arlington, Va., and Eric Bergmann of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride.
Suzanne Davenport of Lawrence, Kan., attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Leesburg Fire Department in Leesburg, Va.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner March 2 at Laurel Brigade Inn at Leesburg.
Mrs. Neumeyer received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a master of science degree in occupational therapy from Towson University in Towson, Md. She was a pediatric occupational therapist at the Lab School of Washington in Washington, D.C.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in materials engineering from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Ga. He is stationed with the U.S. Navy at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and is a trombonist with the Pacific Fleet Navy Band.
The newlyweds will reside at Pearl Harbor.
