SCOTT CITY -- St. Augustine Catholic Church at Kelso was the setting Jan. 29, 2000, for the wedding of Leanne Michelle Raines and Gary Wayne Heuring. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the double ring ceremony. Reader was Doris Stubenrauch of Scott City, godmother of the bride.
Organist was Betty Ressel, and vocalists were Betty Ressel and Bob Ressel of Kelso.
Parents of the bride are Diana and Tom Masterson and Leonard and Carol Raines, all of Scott City. The groom is the son of George and Gladys Heuring of Scott City.
Amanda Welter of Kelso was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Raines of Scott City, sister of the bride, and Christy Crites of Cape Girardeau.
Best man was Keith Morrow of Scott City. Groomsmen were Douglas Leimbach of Kelso and Tom Masterson Jr. of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride. Ushers were Richard Heuring of Kelso and Donald Heuring of Dutchtown, brothers of the groom.
Flower girl was Kasey Crowden, daughter of Jim and Karla Crowden of Jackson and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Cody Lynch, son of Mike and Amy Wyatt of Chaffee and nephew of the bride.
Candlelighters were Tara Diebold and Nora Glasser, nieces of the groom. Tara is the daughter of Wayne and Diane Diebold of Branson. Nora is the daughter of Wilford and Karen Glasser of Kelso.
Guest book attendants were Amy Wyatt of Chaffee, sister of the bride, and Darian Lynch, son of Mike and Amy Wyatt and nephew of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Server was Judy McClure of Anna, Ill.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 28 at Midtown Cafe.
Mrs. Heuring is a 1995 graduate of Scott City High School. She is order coordinator at Magna-Tel Inc. in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Scott City High School. He is a self-employed farmer in the Kelso area.
The couple resides in Kelso.
