WEDDING: NORDMAN-MCMILLEN

Gretchen Renee Nordman and Andrew John McMillen were united in marriage Sept. 16, 2000, at Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jerry Statler performed the double ring ceremony. Organist and pianist was Laura Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, and trumpeter was Jared Prost of Perryville, Mo. Soloist was Brandon Hahs of Cape Girardeau. Readers were Christy Williams of Metropolis, Ill., cousin of the bride, and Matt Hrubes of St. Louis.

Parents of the couple are Ernie and Judy Nordman of Cape Girardeau, and John and Jill McMillen of Kirkwood, Mo.

Matron of honor was Rachael Narsh of Ballwin, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amy Rassin of Chicago; Kristen McCune of St. Louis; Lee McCrea of Springfield, Mo.; Christine Zesch, Kristen Crayton, sister of the groom, and Kara Johnston, all of St. Louis.

Tim McMillen of Kirkwood served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Tettamble of Springfield; Andy Hughes of Chicago; Todd Fogarty of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Todd Nordman of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Lance Crayton of St. Louis, brother-in-law of the groom; and Tommy Knoll of Boulder, Colo. Ushers were Joe Narsh of Ballwin, Dan Genovese and Michael Morrison of St. Louis, and Bert Haifley of Springfield.

Flower girl was Delaney Muir, daughter of Lance and Kristen Crayton and niece of the groom.

Meredith Ogburn of Dallas, Texas, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Drury Lodge.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 15 at Mollies.

Mrs. McMillen is a 1992 graduate of Central High School, and received a degree in health management from Southwest Missouri State University. She is a pharmaceutical sales representative with Glaxo Wellcome.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Desmet High school in St. Louis, and received a degree in mass communications from Southwest University. He is a manufacturer's representative with Olympic Manufacturing Group.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple is residing in Kirkwood.
