Lord of Life Lutheran Chapel in Chesterfield, Mo., was the setting May 27, 2000, for the wedding of Kelly Christine Mueller and Mark Allen Eftink. The Rev. Jim Rogers performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Karen Stevenson, and soloist was Betsy Schuermann of Chesterfield.
Donald and Judy Mueller of Wildwood, Mo., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Leon and Mary Jane Eftink of Cape Girardeau.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Jeanne McGuire of Ballwin, Mo. Bridesmaids were Christina Stewart of Columbia, Mo., Jane Kaganov of Creve Coeur, Mo., Tracey Schramm of St. Louis, and Jill Jacobson of Kansas City.
Brian Eftink of Chattanooga, Tenn., served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Eftink of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom; Jason Mueller of Wildwood, brother of the bride; Craig Wittgrove and Jason Hull of Kansas City. Ushers were Doug Burkott of Rockford, Ill.; and Tim Merello of St. Louis.
Flower girl was Amanda Cox of Titusville, Fla., and ringbearer was Collin Boner of Oran, Mo., cousins of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Henry VIII Hotel in St. Louis.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 26 at Agostino's Restaurant in St. Louis.
Mrs. Eftink is a 1993 graduate of Lafayette High School. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Missouri in 1997. She is employed at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Ill.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of Oran High School. He received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology in 1997, and a master's degree in health administration in May 2000, both from the University of Missouri. He is employed at Lake Forest Hospital.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides at Round Lake Beach, Ill.
