PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Dana Elizabeth Monier and Richard Paul Taylor Jr. were married July 15, 2000, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz performed the double ring ceremony. Organist and soloist was Judy Wengert of Perryville.
Parents of the bride are Dale Monier of Perryville, and the late Lucy Monier. The groom is the son of Rick and Brenda Tisher of Perryville, and the late Richard Paul Taylor Sr.
Matron of honor was Melissa Zahner, and maid of honor was Jill Monier, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nikki Lappe; Erin Blythe and Richelle Tisher, both sisters of the groom.
Bryan Lohmann served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Harley Taylor II, cousin of the groom; Christopher Wibbenmeyer, uncle of the groom; Torry Turlin and Jim Yeager. Ushers were Mark and Brad Taylor, cousins of the groom.
Candlelighters were Amy Trapp and Angie Kester.
Miniature bride and groom were Ashley Moll, cousin of the groom, and Christopher Zahner, nephew of the bride.
Flower girl was Hailey Moll, cousin of the groom, and Dylan Zahner, nephew of the bride.
Emily Brewer was the reader and program attendant. Bethany Taylor, sister of the groom, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception and dance was held at the American Legion Hall.
The parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 14 at the Colonnade Room.
Mrs. Taylor is a 1995 graduate of Perryville High School, and received a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. She is employed by state of Missouri in Cape Girardeau.
The groom is a 1989 graduate of Perryville High School, and received a bachelor's degree from Southeast University in 1997. He is a graduate student at the university.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, Nev., the couple resides in Perryville.
