JACKSON, Mo. -- Alisha Anne Liley and Nathan Montgomery Turley were married Dec. 30, 2000, at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Patrick Tankersley performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Lisa Drum, saxophonist was Justin Thompson, and soloist was Andrea Penland, all of Jackson.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Carol Keen of Jackson, and Mike and Laura Liley of Grassy, Mo. Wayne and Karen Turley of Jackson are parents of the groom.
Maid of honor was Michele Millham of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Katy Liley, sister-in-law of the bride, McKenzie Turley, sister of the groom, both of Jackson; Anne Trieb of Sparta, Ill., Debbie Schmelz of Pacific, Mo., and Angie Aschoff of Ankeny, Iowa.
Charles Waldron of Jackson served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Jason Liley, brother of the bride; Justin Gladish, Greg Schemel, Jason St.John and Glen Brunke, all of Jackson. Ushers were Matt Rubel of Cape Girardeau and John Trieb of Sparta.
Candlelighters were Wendy Borgfield, stepsister of the bride, and Carmen Smith, both of Jackson.
Flower girl was Madison Moore, daughter of Brooks and Sandy Moore of Whitewater, Mo., and cousin of the bride.
Beth and Jill Becker attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Carla Millham, Lisa Drum, Sandy Moore, Debbie Litzelfelner and Ruth Masterson.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 29 at Route 25 Hall.
Mrs. Turley is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 2001 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She will be a sixth grade teacher at Jackson Middle School and also coach softball.
The groom is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School. He expects to receive a degree in fitness and sports medicine from Southeast in May 2002.
After a wedding trip to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
