Angela Nicole Juengling and Shawn Joseph Pemberton exchanged vows Aug. 12, 2000, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Columbia, Ill. The Rev. Rob Page performed the double ring ceremony. Music was by Lori Morton of Waterloo, Ill. Soloist was Neal Boyd of Columbia, Mo.
David and Nancy Juengling of Columbia, Ill., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Ken and Brenda Pemberton Sr. of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Amy Juengling of Columbia, Ill., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kim Dame, Kelly Habermehl and Andrea Hamilton, all of Columbia, Ill.
The groom chose his brother, Ken Pemberton Jr. of Henderson, Ky., as best man. Groomsmen were Jon Lewis of Herculaneum, Mo., Jeremy Welch of New York, N.Y., and Greg Hellwege of St. Louis. Ushers and candlelighters were Blake Tilley of St. Louis and Alex Juengling of Columbia, Ill., brother of the bride.
Flower girl was McKenzie Bradshaw, daughter of Allen and Karen Bradshaw of Cape Girardeau and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Colin Juengling, son of Paul and Karen Juengling of Columbia, Ill., and cousin of the bride.
Laci McDonald, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Turner Hall in Columbia, Ill. Servers were Donna Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau and Letty Bradshaw of Chaffee, Mo., aunts of the groom.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 11 at Holiday Inn South County.
Mrs. Pemberton received a bachelor of science degree in education with emphasis on early childhood at Southeast Missouri State University in May 2000. She is a kindergarten teacher at Vineland Elementary School in DeSoto, Mo.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., in May 1999. He is a surgical laser technician at Medical Alliance in St. Louis.
Following a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Arnold, Mo.
