SIKESTON, Mo. -- Laurie Ann Hobgood and Jason Eric Bell were married Sept. 30, 2000, at Cornerstone General Baptist Church. The Rev. David Cullen performed the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Michael Glen and Jeanne Marshall of Jackson, Mo. The groom is the son of Roxanna Boley of Morley, Mo., and Terry and Jimmie Lou Bell Sr. of Sikeston.
The bride was escorted by her stepfather, Michael Marshall.
Matron of honor was Judy Duenne of Charleston, Mo. Bridesmaids were Danielle Duenne, cousin of the bride; Tracy Boley, sister of the groom; and Kate Duenne, cousin of the bride.
Eric Kesler of Morley served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Danny Duenne of Charleston, uncle of the bride; Terry Bell Jr., brother of the groom; and Trey Taylor, cousin of the groom, both of Sikeston. Ushers were Claude Lovel Jr. and Mike McMillan of Sikeston.
Candlelighters were Danny and Joshua Boley of Morley, brothers of the groom.
Flower girl was Victoria Duenne of Charleston.
Kathy and Jennifer Rolwing of Charleston were guest book and program attendants.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Charleston. Servers were Kathy Rolwing and Teresa Showmaker of Charleston, and Teresa Conn of Morley, aunt of the groom.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Sikeston Elks Lodge.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple resides in Sikeston.
