SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Janel Denise Gulley and Jonathon Eugene Wilburn were married Sept. 23, 2000, at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson, Mo. The Rev. Sam Rothemeyer performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Christy Shinn of Jackson. Soloist was Diane Stephens of Scott City, aunt of the bride.

Parents of the bride are Jerome and Jane Gulley of Jackson. The groom is the son of Terry Wilburn of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Carol Wilburn of Scott City.

Maid of honor was Tracey Heisserer of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Sarah Mirgaux of Scott City, Amy Centanni of Cape Girardeau, Tabatha Crabtree of St. Louis, and Nichole Baker of Scott City, cousin of the bride.

Britt Mirgaux of Scott City served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Wilburn of Scott City and Steve Wilburn of Cape Girardeau, brothers of the groom; Matt Venable and Gary Kelly of Scott City. Ushers were Chuck Rhyne of Scott City and Jesse Southern of Cape Girardeau.

Flower girl was Morgan Baker, daughter of Billy and Nichole Baker. Ringbearer was Jordan Wilburn, son of Chris Wilburn and Mary Felty of Scott City, nephew of the groom.

Candlelighter was Rachel Stephens, daughter of Darren and April Stephens of Scott City.

Guest book attendants were Sara McCallister of Jackson, cousin of the bride, and Michelle Wilburn of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Jackson Knights of Columbus Hall. Servers were Diane Deneke, aunt of the bride, and Ruthann Freeman of Chaffee, Mo.

The groom's father hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 22 at Pagoda Gardens.

Mrs. Wilburn is a graduate of Scott City High School. She is employed at LeeRowan Co. in Jackson.

The groom is a graduate of Scott City High School. He is employed at S&S Interiors Inc.

After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple resides in Scott City.
