NEW ATHENS, Ill. -- Jackie Derwort and Talley Haines were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony on Dec. 17, 1999, at St. Agatha's Catholic Church in New Athens, Ill.

Jim and Sue Derwort of Marissa, Ill., are parents of the bride. The groom's parents are Joey and Jane Haines of Cape Girardeau.

Angie Aschoff was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Laura Risley, Brooke Portz and Jennifer Doolittle.

Joey Haines was best man and groomsmen were Sean Dougherty, Aaron Redfearn, and Justin Robert.

Shannon McVey was flowergirl. Blake Pobst was ringbearer.

Mrs. Haines is a 1996 graduate of Marissa High School.

The groom is a 1995 graduate of Cape Central High School. He is employed by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
