Weakley-Koch

Julie Anne Weakley became the bride of Jeffrey John Koch May 24, 2003, at Centenary United Methodist Church. Dr. Clayton L. Smith performed the ceremony. Organist was Mary Miller, trumpeter was Marc Fulgham, and soloist was Leslie Buck, all of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Lois Weakley of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of John and Judy Koch of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Angie Ritter of St. Charles, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Alison Rademaker and Wendy Lovelady of Cape Girardeau, Aimee Bittle of Cambridge, Mass., and Leslie Buck.

James Koch of St. Louis served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Koch of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom; Brian Ritter of St. Charles, brother-in-law of the bride; Brandon Palm of Columbia, Mo., cousin of the groom; and Chris Collier of Nashville, Tenn. Ushers were David and Johnny Gitto of St. Louis, cousins of the bride.

Candlelighters and guest book attendants were Brett, Sarah and Mary Catherine Ford, daughters of Cliff and Michele Ford of Cape Girardeau.

Ringbearer was Blake Ritter, son of Brian and Angie Ritter and nephew of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 23 at Celebrations.

Mrs. Koch received a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders from the University of Mississippi, and a master of arts degree in speech pathology from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a speech/language pathologist with Columbia Public Schools.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree in business administration and a law degree from the University of Missouri, and will attend the masters program at Washington University in St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to the Cayman Islands, the couple will reside in St. Louis.
