Erin Lee Vogt and Robert Thurman Brewer were married May 25, 2002, in a garden setting at the Vogt home. Judge Randy P. Schuller performed the double ring ceremony. Music was provided by Trio Girardeaux. Vocalists John Broom and Jenny Vogt were accompanied by Steve Schaffner.
Parents of the bride are Fred and Pat Vogt of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Larry and Jane Brewer of Lakemont, Ga.
Matron of honor was Jenny Vogt of Columbia, Mo., sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kathleen Tomasula of Chapel Hill, N.C., Jamie Krohn of Phoenix, Ariz., Marissa Tilley of Cape Girardeau, Kristen Tallent of Patton, Mo., and Katie Zimbone of Boston, Mass.
Nelson Camilo of Atlanta, Ga., served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Barnes of Los Angeles, Andrews Griffin and Christopher Collett of Atlanta, and Dr. Eric Vogt of Columbia, brother of the bride.
Flower girls were Cecelia Spear of Kansas City, Mo., and Kealey Finn of Canterton, Ark., cousins of the bride. Ringbearers were Colten Vogt of Columbia, nephew of the bride, and Ryan McCarthy of Atlanta, nephew of the groom.
Sara Broom attended the guest book, and Mindy Hoffman attended the gift table.
Following the ceremony, an outdoor reception was held at the Vogt home. Servers were Lynnette Finn, cousin of the bride, and Kelley Snider.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 24 at In the Wine Cellar.
Mrs. Brewer received a bachelor of arts degree in communications from the University of Arizona. She is completing an internship with Sporting News Network.
The groom received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Georgia. He is completing a master's degree in sports marketing, and is a graduate assistant in the sports marketing department at the University of Southern California.
The couple is residing in Los Angeles.
