Venneman-Atkinson

Sara Janel Venneman and Daniel Minor Atkinson were married Sept. 23, 2006, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Dave Hulshof performed the ceremony. Pianist was Matt Yount of Marble Hill, Mo.

Readers were Michael Venneman of Mehlville, Mo, uncle of the bride; Patricia Suelmann of St. Louis, aunt of the bride; Tony Peters of Cape Girardeau; and Tina Henderson of Fredericktown, Mo., cousin of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Kathy Venneman of Patton, Mo. The groom is the son of Buzz and Jennifer Atkinson of Blue Springs, Mo.

Maid of honor was Hilary Mungle of Virginia Beach, Va., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsey Davis and Shannon Erzfeld of Patton; and Kristin Atkinson of Blue Springs, sister of the groom.

Matt Clabaugh of Bonne Terre, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Steve Trankler of Houston, Texas, Daryl Miller of St. Louis, and Eric Dugan of Denver, Colo., cousin of the groom. Ushers were Aaron Julian and Scott Scheumann of St. Louis.

Candlelighters were Casey Yamnitz, cousin of the bride, and Tessa Bollinger, both of Sedgewickville, Mo.

Ringbearer was Carson Clabaugh, son of Matt and Amy Clabaugh.

Amber Propst of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book. Program attendants were Riley Henderson of Fredericktown and Shawna Gruenke of Patton, cousins of the bride.

The reception was held at the Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 22 at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Mrs. Atkinson received a master's degree in community counseling from Southeast Missouri State University in 2005. She is employed at Community Counseling Center.

The groom received a bachelor's degree from Southeast in 2001. He is the senior buyer at Saint Francis Medical Center.

After a wedding trip to Europe, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
