Courtney Marie Vance and Chad Christopher McCormick exchanged vows June 18, 2005, in an outdoor ceremony at the home of the groom's parents. Michael Kelpe performed the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Doug and Susie Stallings of Jackson and Claude Vance of Marble Hill, Mo. The groom is the son of Mark and Sherry McCormick of Marble Hill.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father and stepfather.
Matron of honor was Danielle Gemeinhardt of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Brianna Vance and Beth Stallings of Jackson, sisters of the bride; Mindy Boettcher of Cape Girardeau, Autumn Stevens of Jackson, and Katie O'Loughlin of Scott City.
Kent McCormick of Marble Hill was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Ben Vance of Scott City, brother of the bride; Michael Owens, Matt Fox, Kyle Booth and Jared Houchins, all of Marble Hill. Ushers were Garrett Rives and Robert Anderson of Marble Hill.
Flower girl was Riley Vance, daughter of the bride.
Guest book attendants were Megan Stallings of Jackson, sister of the bride, and Kaitlin McCormick, cousin of the groom.
The reception was held at the McCormick home. Servers were Beverly Johnson, Vickie Prince, Ann Hahn and Kim Frymire.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 17 at their home.
Mrs. McCormick is a 2003 graduate of Jackson High School, and is pursuing a degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Woodland High School. He is a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton.
The couple is residing in Vista, Calif.
