Kelly Lynne Tummins and Corey Wade James exchanged vows Aug. 11, 2007, in an outdoor ceremony at their home. The Rev. Jeff Long performed the ceremony.

Joyce Tummins of Cape Girardeau and Mike Tummins of Dickson, Tenn., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Ronald and Janey James of Dickson.

The bride was escorted by her parents.

Matron of honor was Beth Barbee of Dickson, sister of the groom. Bridesmaid was Lauren Jackson of Jackson.

Christopher James was best man and Cody James was groomsman, both of Dickson and brothers of the groom. Ushers were Clay Tummins of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride, and Shane Barbee of Dickson, brother-in-law of the groom.

Flower girl was Izabella James of Dickson, niece of the groom.

An outdoor reception followed the ceremony.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 10 at Chinatown Buffet in Cape Girardeau.

The bride's mother hosted a reception Aug. 18 at Family Life Center in Cape Girardeau. The groom's parents hosted a dinner and dance Aug. 25 at their home.

Mrs. James is a 2003 graduate of Central High School. She expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in social work from Southeast Missouri State University in December.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Dickson Senior High School. He attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Nashville Technical Institute in Tennessee, and Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. He is employed with American Electrical Power in Cape Girardeau.

After a wedding trip to Gulf Shores, Ala., the couple resides in Gordonville.
