The bride is the daughter of Ed and Doris Thiele of Jackson. The groom is the son of Cal and Paulette Parr of Sikeston, Mo., and the late Gary Mayabb of East Prairie, Mo.

Mr. and Mrs. Mayabb received bachelor degrees in biological science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in May. Both plan to attend the University of Missouri School of Medicine this fall.
