Stefanie Leighanne Tatum and Barry Dewayne Dennison were married May 29, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Eugene Poole performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Roger and Mary Ann Tatum of Scott City. The groom is the son of Teresa Dennison and Terry Dennison of Portageville, Mo.
Matron of honor was Ashley Koehler of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Sarah Weinkein of Cape Girardeau; Ashley Dennison of Portageville, sister of the groom; Ashley Miller of Scott City, Nikki Floyd and Paige Moore of Cape Girardeau, and Karla Hillemann of Scott City.
Derek Blancett of Jonesboro, Ark., was best man. Groomsmen were Lance Sipes of Oxford, Miss., cousin of the groom; Brent Dennison, brother of the groom; Nate Sipes, uncle of the groom, both of Portageville; Robert Harper of Cape Girardeau; and Brandon Dennison of Portageville, brother of the groom. Usher was Brent Raines of Scott City.
Candlelighters were Karla Hillamann of Scott City and Mary Kate Erwin and Stephanie Sills of Dallas, Texas, cousins of the bride.
The dinner and dance reception was held at Bavarian Halle.
The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner May 28 at the church hall.
Mrs. Dennison is a graduate of Scott City High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in mass communication advertising and master of public administration, both from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by city of Germantown, Tenn., as marketing and membership sales coordinator of Germantown Athletic Club.
The groom is a graduate of Portageville High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in business management, leadership from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He is an assistant store manager with Walgreens.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Memphis, Tenn.
