Stuessel-Plassman

Val-Lisa Stuessel and Nicholas Plassman were married Aug. 24, 2002, at Oasis Assembly of God Church in Princeton, Ind. The Rev. Jeff Enochs performed the ceremony. Pianist was Janene Greene of Princeton. Vocalists were Leah Greene of Princeton, Diana Smith of Owensville, Ind., and the Rev. Enochs.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Jeanie Stuessel of Mount Carmel, Ill. The groom is the son of Pam Plassman of Cape Girardeau and Jim Plassman of Marble Hill, Mo.

Maid of honor was Toni Workman of Mount Carmel. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Budzik of St. Louis, Ashley Koettker of Cape Girardeau, and Suzi Reinwald of Perryville, Mo.

Jarett Stafford of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were the father of the groom; Jason Plassman of Jackson, brother of the groom; and C.J. Ordonia of Cape Girardeau. Ushers and candlelighters were B.G. Knight of Fort Branch, Ind., cousin of the bride, and Jeff Beasley of Cape Girardeau.

Flower girls were Taylor Stuessel of Oakland City, cousin of the bride, and Alivia Plassman of Jackson, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Devin Plassman, nephew of the groom.

Traci Riggs of Mount Carmel was guest book and program attendant.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Community Room in Mount Carmel. Servers were LaVerne Sales, Jill Plassman and Dee Kinder.

The groom is stationed with the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Va.
