Rebecca Elizabeth Diane Strong and Gregory Paules Gibson were united in marriage on Oct. 3, 2015, in front of the bridge at Cape County Park South in Cape Girardeau. Mike Parry performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of P.H. "Rock" and Dawn Strong of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Gregory and Chris Gibson of Jackson.
Matron of honor was Beth Simmons, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jordan Whitener, Samantha Kempker and Aimee Zeppenfeldt.
Best man was Ryan Gibson, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brendan Smith, Matthew Gibson, brother of the groom, and Jake Jeffryes.
Ushers were Matt McHale and Dan Mumm.
Ring bearers were Cornelius Rockwell Gibson and Corbin Stewart Gibson, the couple's dogs.
The rehearsal dinner party was hosted by the groom's parents at their home in Jackson.
The wedding reception was held in the event center at Isle Casino in Cape Girardeau.
The bride is a recruitment assistant for San Juan Regional Medical Center in New Mexico. The groom is a grade control engineer for BHP Billiton of New Mexico.
After a honeymoon in Las Vegas and Pagosa Springs, Colorado, the couple is residing in Farmington, New Mexico.
