NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- St. Lawrence Catholic Church was the setting Oct. 18, 2003, for the wedding of Amy Louise Statler and Dustin Michael Essner. The Rev. Normand Varone performed the ceremony. Soloists were Mary Glastetter, Ryan Davis and Whitney Nelson, accompanied by Melinda Nelson.
Eucharistic ministers were Larry and Marsha Strobel and Mary Frances Glastetter. Lector was Glastetter, giftbearers were Kenny and Debbie Essner and Timmy and Jeanie Essner, and mass servers were Ryan and Lance Essner.
Rick and Barbara Statler of Patton, Mo., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Andrew and Carla Essner of New Hamburg.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Heidi Windler of Nashville, Ill. Bridesmaids were Brandy Green of Cape Girardeau, Tammy Crites of Jackson, Lisa Essner of New Hamburg, April Miinch of Sedgewickville, Mo., Kelly Boling of Patton, and Lisa Statler of Leopold, Mo. Junior bridesmaid was Tonya Scholl of Jackson.
Brian Enderle of New Hamburg was best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Daniel of Cape Girardeau, Shane Davis of Sikeston, Mo., Andy Silman and Travis Green of Benton, Mo., Heath Burger of New Hamburg, and Michael Statler of Leopold. Ushers were Richard and Matthew Statler of Patton, Kent Essner of Dexter, Mo., and Brent Neumeyer of Gordonville.
Flower girl was Addison Ziegler of Kelso. Ringbearer was Ross Essner of Benton.
Guest book attendants were Jessica and Nora Faenger.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the parish center.
Mrs. Essner received a degree in agri-business from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at St. Francis Medical Center.
The groom is a graduate of Kelly High School. He is employed with Essner Farms.
The couple is residing at New Hamburg.
