The bride is the daughter of Randy and Ginger Smith of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Jack and Laura Taber of Cape Girardeau.

Matron of honor was Jessica Kinder of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Fornkohl, Heather Wingo and Melissa Hobbs, all of Cape Girardeau.

Dean Best of Cape Girardeau was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Cody Kinder, brother-in-law of the groom; Alex Anderson and Ryan Fornkohl, all of Cape Girardeau. Usher was Rob Davis of Cape Girardeau.

Guest book and bubble attendants were Lindsey Holman and Amanda Flesher.

Mrs. Best is a 2004 graduate of Central High School. She received a degree in medical assistance from Metro Business College in 2006. She is a PBT (ASCP) at Southeast Missouri Hospital Lab.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Central High School. He is employed at B&S Radiator Repair.

The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
