Lindsay Leanne Shell and William Samuel Adams were married July 23, 2016, at Hahn Chapel General Baptist Church in Marble Hill, Missouri. The Rev. Gerald Huff of Marble Hill performed the double ring ceremony.

Lindsay is the daughter of Rick and Donna Shell of Marble Hill. William is the son of Jeff and Melanie Adams of New Albany, Indiana.

The maid of honor was Ashley Yount of St. Louis, friend of the bride. Matron of honor was Jane Budnick of Ellisville, Missouri, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jeana Dickey of Glenallen, Missouri, friend of the bride; Carlie Nichols of Fillmore, Indiana, friend of the bride; Lauren Budnick of Ellisville, niece of the bride; and Suellen Head of Marble Hill, friend of the bride.

The best man was Mike Adams of New Albany, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jon Adams of New Albany, brother of the groom; Justin Adams of Adairville, Kentucky, brother of the groom; Ben Shell of Marble Hill, brother of the bride; Brandon Duncan of Chandler, Indiana, friend of the groom; and Joshua Bunch of Boonville, Indiana, friend of the groom.

The flower girl was McKenna Budnick, daughter of Keith and Jane Budnick of Ellisville and niece of the bride.

The ringbearer was Joseph Adams, son of Jon and Mariah Adams of New Albany and nephew of the groom.

Special music was provided by the groom's brothers, Mike, Jon, and Justin. They were joined by the groom's sisters-in-law Mariah and Misty, and friend Maria Olberding of Tell City, Indiana.

Austin Loveless of Evansville, Indiana, and Joshua Bunch, friends of the groom, served as ushers.

Tara Belcher of Marble Hill, friend of the bride, attended the guest book.

Nick James, Artful Science Event Entertainment of Leopold, Missouri, provided the music for the ceremony.

Betty Rambo of Marble Hill, friend of the bride's family, served as wedding coordinator.

The wedding reception was held at The Mayfield Cultural Center in Marble Hill following the arrival of the bride and groom by horse-drawn carriage.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents on July 22 at the Hahn Chapel Fellowship Hall.

The bride is a 2013 graduate of Woodland Hill School. She is in her senior year at Oakland City University in Oakland City, Indiana, majoring in psychology. She is employed as head junior-high girls basketball coach at Wood Memorial Junior High in Oakland City. She will further her study toward a master's degree in Bible counseling in fall 2017 at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, preparing to be a Christian family counselor.

The groom is a 2013 graduate of Portland Christian School in Louisville. He is employed by the United Methodist Youth Home in Evansville and is doing undergraduate work through Indiana University-Southeast in New Albany, preparing for a position in secondary education. He also is employed as assistant coach with the junior-high girls basketball team.

After a wedding trip to Destin, Florida, the couple lives in Oakland City.
