Seyer-Schaefer

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Kerri Michelle Seyer and Quinton D. Schaefer were married April 9, 2005, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. The Rev. Ralph Duffner performed the ceremony. Lector was Bethany Kirchhoff of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride. Communion minister was David Lape of Chaffee. Giftbearers were Marvin and Anna Marie LeGrand of Chaffee, godparents of the bride.

Parents of the couple are Marvin and Karen Seyer of Chaffee, and Marcus and Vickie Schaefer of Benton, Mo.

Maid of honor was Suzi Mack of Benton, and matron of honor was Nichole Porting of Parkville, Mo., sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Ashley Seyer of Chaffee, sister of the bride; Amber Laster of Scott City, Kari Bickings of Oran, Mo., and Rachael Carlton of Jackson, cousin of the groom.

Daniel Schaefer of Benton, brother of the groom, and Roger Seyer of Kelso, brother of the bride, were best men. Groomsmen were Eric Seyer of Chaffee, brother of the bride; Brian Gilpin of Scott City; Chris Schaefer of Chaffee and Marcus Schaefer II of Jonesboro, Ill., brothers of the groom. Ushers were Daniel Seyer of Columbia, Mo., and Carl Seyer of Tamaroa, Ill., cousin of the bride.

Miniature bride was Katelyn Seyer, daughter of Roger and Rebecca Seyer and niece of the bride.

Flower girls were Karlee and Shelby Seyer, nieces of the bride, and Paige Schaefer, niece of the groom. Ringbearers were Jacob Schaefer and Nicholas Porting, nephews of the groom. Karlee is the daughter of Eric and Kara Seyer, Shelby is the daughter of Roger and Rebecca Seyer, Paige is the daughter of Chris and Brandy Schaefer, Jacob is the son of Marcus and Amy Schaefer, and Nicholas is the son of Jon and Nichole Porting.

Program attendants were Megan Griffin of Delta and Brooke Seyer of Chaffee, cousin of the bride.

The dinner and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Kelso. Servers were Zachary Essner and Alex and Augie Orr, all of Chaffee and cousins of the bride.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 8 at St. Ambrose Parish Center.

Mrs. Schaefer is a 2001 graduate of Kelly High School. She is employed in the insurance department at Cape Girardeau Surgical Clinic.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Kelly High School. He is a department manager at Toys R Us.

The couple is residing in Scott City.
