Rachel Hope Schwiesow and 2nd Lt. Joshua Matthew Bohnert were married Jan. 5, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville. The Rev. David Dissen performed the ceremony. Organist and pianists were Kimberly Reimann and Connie Kettner. Vocalists were Beth Glaus and Matthew Petzoldt.

Parents of the couple are the Rev. Wayne and Donna Schwiesow of Gordonville, and Matthew and Sara Bohnert of Altenburg, Mo.

Maid of honor was Sarah Abernathy. Bridesmaids were Arielle Bohnert of Altenburg, sister of the groom, and Melissa Shinn of Gordonville.

Royce Bohnert of Altenburg was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Scott Schwiesow, brother of the bride, and Joe Strauser of Jackson, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Patrick Grandt and Benjamin Theiss.

Flower girl was Piper Guilliams, daughter of Wade and Crystal Guilliams of Fruitland.

Bailey Crites, cousin of the groom, attended the guest book.

The reception was held at Zion Parish Hall. Servers were Brett and Holly Schneider and Marilyn and Lauren Eggimann.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 4 at Zion Parish Hall.

Mrs. Bohnert received a bachelor of arts degree in English from Southeast Missouri State University.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Southeast. He is serving in the U.S. Air Force.

The couple is residing at RAF Mildenhall, England.
