Ginger Rene Schwab and Jacob "Haskell" Huffman were married Oct. 7, 2006, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Short performed the ceremony. Organist was Pat Palisch of Jackson, and violinist was Kyle Gilhaus of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Marilyn Schwab of Cape Girardeau, and the late John A. Schwab. The groom is the son of Kelye and Frank Reese of Pell City, Ala.
Maid of honor was Sara Scheper of Jackson and matron of honor was Malissa Mier of Scott City. Bridesmaids were Quantia Jenkins of Altamonte Springs, Fla., Debbie Rivera of Deltona, Fla., and Amanda Christ of Overland Park, Kan.
Chris Pinkston of Houston, Texas, was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Jimmy and Chris Minter of Atlanta, Ga., cousins of the groom; Vance Christ of Overland Park, and Andrew Christ of Manhattan, Kan.
Miniature bride was Ryley Guth, daughter of Craig and Bevin Guth of Jackson and cousin of the bride. Miniature groom was Clayton Mickan, son of Chris and Tonya Mickan of Jackson and cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Jenna Plassman, daughter of Jill Moye and Jason Plassman. Ringbearer was Jacob Smith, son of Anthony and Jennifer Smith of Ball Ground, Ga., nephew of the groom.
Tracy Guth attended the guest book.
The reception was held at the American Legion Hall in Cape Girardeau. Servers were Tammy Schwab, Dawn Schwab, Tonya Anderson, Melody Anderson and Tracy Guth.
The bride's mother and friends hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 6 at the church.
Mrs. Huffman is a 1993 graduate of Central High School, and received a bachelor of elementary education degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1998. She is employed with Sikeston School District at Southeast Elementary.
The groom attended Pell City High School. He is employed at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse in Cape Girardeau.
The couple resides in Benton, Mo.
