PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Heather Kalena Schubert and David Steven Knuth were married May 18, 2013, at Schubert's family vineyard in Perry County. Edward Leoni performed the ceremony. Violinist was Matthew Mueller of Perryville, Mo.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Linda Schubert of Perryville. The groom is the son of Steve and Mary Knuth of Saybrook, Ill.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Schubert of Perryville, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Jennifer Weaver of East Prairie, Mo.
Sean Kerwin of Peoria, Ill., was best man. Groomsman was Aaron Stevenson of West Plains, Mo. Ushers were Aaron Schubert of Perryville and Chris Schubert of Forest Hills, N.Y., brothers of the bride.
Ringbearer was Noah Rogers of Bloomington, Ill., nephew of the groom.
An outdoor reception was held at the vineyard.
The bride received a bachelor of science degree in biology in 2007 and a master of natural science in 2010 from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a high school science teacher with Scott County Central School District.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in zoology in 2002 and a master of science in fisheries in 2007 from Southern Illinois University. He is a fisheries management biologist with Missouri Department of Conservation in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Jackson.
