Parents of the couple are Joseph and Patricia Schlosser of Cape Girardeau, and Dr. Douglas and Peggy Sawyer of Winona Lake, Ind.

Maid of honor was Christy Schlosser of Overland Park, Kan.

Andrew Sawyer of Madison, Wis., was his brother's best man. Ushers and attendants were Derek and Samantha Evans, Matt Miller and Martha Early, all of Columbia.

Ringbearers were Finn and Keller Bailey, sons of Dave and Mandy Bailey of North Manchester, Ind., and nephews of the groom.

The reception was held at Columbia Country Club.

The groom's parents hosted a dinner May 23 in Columbia.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor's degree from Missouri State University in 2004, a master's degree from the University of Missouri in 2006, and is completing a doctorate in sociology at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He received a bachelor's degree from Denison University in 2003, a master's degree from Western Washington University in 2005, and is completing a doctorate in psychology from the University of Missouri.

After a wedding trip to Charleston and Folly Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Columbia.
