Schloss-Goodin

Emily Cailin Schloss and Arthur Lee Goodin II were married Sept. 13, 2003, at River Ridge Winery in Commerce, Mo. The Rev. James Schultz performed the ceremony.

Larry and Brenda Schloss of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Arthur F. and Sarah Goodin of Thebes, Ill.

Maid of honor was Kimberly Potts of St. Louis. Bridesmaids were Erin Koehler of Jackson and Caitlin Schloss of Cape Girardeau, sisters of the bride.

Jacob Goodin of Sikeston, Mo., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Pier of Eugene, Ore., cousin of the groom, and Barry Johnson of Sikeston. Ushers were Christopher Hinkle of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, and Robert Goodin of Charleston, Mo., cousin of the groom.

Flower boy was Nolan Koehler of Jackson, nephew of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the winery. A dinner reception was held later at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Lana Goodin of Charleston, aunt of the groom, and Sandy Hinkle of Cape Girardeau, aunt of the bride.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 12 at the winery.

Mrs. Goodin received a bachelor's degree in sports medicine from Southeast Missouri State University in 2002. She is a health educator with Butler County Health Department.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in general studies from Southeast University in 2002. He is an environmental specialist with Department of Natural Resources.

The couple is residing in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
