Sara Colleen Scheper and Travis James Turner were united in marriage July 28, 2007, at Bollinger Mill State Historic Site at Burfordville. The Rev. Samuel Rothemeyer performed the double ring ceremony. Soloist was Beth St. John, accompanied by Dan and Abbie Fieser.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Scheper of Jackson. The groom is the son of David and Marilyn Turner of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Raegan Seidenstricker of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ginger Huffman of Benton, Mo., Jayme Dement of Cape Girardeau, Lisa Reid of Cassville, Mo., and Laura Farmer of Cape Girardeau.

Clay Turner, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Mike Gross, Brent Pfeiffer, Jason St. John and Kyle Glass, all of Jackson. Ushers were Kent Glass of Jackson and James Hitt of Burfordville.

Erin Sides, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Mary Mason, cousin of the bride, and Lori Vines.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Bent Creek Golf Club.

Mrs. Turner is a 1994 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999. She is an education specialist with Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southeast in 2002. He is an industrial technology teacher at Jackson Junior High School.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Jackson.
