JACKSON, Mo. -- Christina Louise Scheper and Troy Lee Martin exchanged vows March 23, 2002, at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, Mo. The Rev. Wayne Palmer performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Deborah Myers of Oak Ridge, Mo., and soloist was Brittany Moore of Pocahontas, Mo.

Parents of the couple are Clayton and Kathy Scheper of Jackson, and Robert "Tex" and Karen Martin of Frohna.

Matrons of honor were Summer Unnerstall of Patton, Mo., and Susan Koch of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Sherry Moore of New Hamburg, Mo., and Kim Rollins of Frohna, sisters of the groom; and Kathy Koenig of Frohna.

Greg Unger of Frohna served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Martin of Cape Girardeau, brother of the groom; Boyd France; Jim Schlichting, cousin of the groom; and Adam Hoehne, all of Frohna. Ushers were Gary Weber of Frohna and John Unnerstall of Patton.

Flower girl was Kaitlyn Poynter, daughter of Darnell and Sheryl Poynter of Bardstown, Ky., and niece of the bride.

Brittany Ponder, niece of the groom, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Brazeau Hall. Servers were Patty Maevers of Jackson and Sheryl Poynter.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at West End in Frohna.

Mrs. Martin is a 1987 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 1999 graduate of Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing. She is a registered nurse at Perry County Nursing Home and Southeast Hospital.

The groom is a 1988 graduate of Perryville High School. He is employed at East Perry Lumber Co.

The couple is residing in Altenburg, Mo.
