Sanders - Tyler

Nicole Anna Sanders and Joshua David Tyler were married Dec. 7, 2013, at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau. Danny Wilson and John Hawkins performed the ceremony. The groom's father played the saxophone.

The bride is the daughter of Willie and Kathy Brown of Cape Girardeau, and George Galen Sanders. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Tyler of Jackson.

Maid of honor was Ashlea Soemo of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Mollie Young of Jackson and Jaley Montgomery of Cape Girardeau.

Cody Helderman of Gordonville was best man. Groomsmen were Aaron Tyler of Jackson, brother of the groom, and Justin Helderman of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Eric Sanders of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Dillon Halbert and Josh Wiseman of Jackson; and Billy Schmitz of St. Louis.

Flower girl was Sophia Hawkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hawkins of Daytona Beach, Florida. Ringbearer was Aiden Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Brown of Cape Girardeau and nephew of the bride.

A dinner and dance reception was held at the University Center ballroom on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.

Mr. and Mrs. Brown hosted the rehearsal dinner Dec. 6 at the church.

Nicole is a 2007 graduate of Central High School, and attended SEMO Master's Commission from 2007 to 2011. She is employed at Medicap Pharmacy.

Joshua is a 2008 graduate of Union City Community High School in Union City, Missouri. He received a degree in sports management from Southeast Missouri State University in 2013. He is employed at Medicap Pharmacy.

Following a Disney cruise in the eastern Caribbean, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
