SIKESTON, Mo. -- Pamela Marie Rowe and James Michael Carr were married July 19, 2003, at First Christian Church in Columbia, Mo. Dr. Kenneth Watson performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Karen Savage of Belton, Mo., and James and Theresa Rowe of Arnold, Mo. The groom is the son of Ed and Mary Ellen Carr of Sikeston.
Maid of honor was Annie Ray, and bridesmaids were Emily Basalla and Hollie Moore. Junior bridesmaid was Taylor Rowe, sister of the bride.
Daniel Lowes was best man. Groomsmen were Josh McDermott, and Neil Carr, brother of the groom. Junior groomsman was Travis Rowe, brother of the bride. Ushers were Richard Schneider, Andrew Alexander, Chris Forbis and Justin Lowes.
Candlelighters were Laurel Dunham and Jennifer Starr.
Hollie Carr, sister-in-law of the groom, attended the guest book. Emily Thompson was program attendant and Debbie Roberts was gift attendant.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Palomino.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 18 at the University Club.
Mrs. Carr received a bachelor of science degree in secondary English education from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is an au pair in Columbia.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in business administration, banking and finance from the university. He is a financial services representative at Union Planters Bank in Columbia.
Following a cruise to Alaska, the couple is residing in Columbia.
