Rebecca Suzanne Roe and Matthew Cullen Thomasson were married Oct. 10, 2009, at St. John Catholic Church in Leopold, Mo. The Rev. John Harth performed the ceremony. Organist was Geri Beussink of Jackson, and soloist was Mike Kohlfeld of Cape Girardeau.
Lectors were Ashley Stanze of St. Louis and Rachel Thomasson of St. Charles, Mo., sisters of the groom. Offertory gifts were presented by Scott and Kristen Roe of Cape Girardeau, brother and sister-in-law of the bride. Eucharistic ministers were Nick and Geraldine Elfrink of Marble Hill, Mo., great-uncle and great-aunt of the bride, and Chris Elfrink of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride.
Parents of the couple are Jerry and Mary Roe of Cape Girardeau, and Robert and Sue Thomasson of St. Louis.
Maid of honor was Lisa Roe of Chesterfield, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Angie McKuin of Jonesboro, Ill., Alexandra Kohlfeld of St. Louis, Jenny Helle of O'Fallon, Mo., Kate Krebel and Monica Porto of St. Louis.
Matt Heet of Hallsville, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Raj Talkad of St. Louis, Jeremy Mall of Chesterfield, Mike Schumacher of Columbia, Mo., Jesse Simmons of St. Louis, and Kyle Clizer of Stewartsville, Mo. Ushers were Gene Buescher and Scott Pope of St. Louis.
Honorary flower girls were Mia Roe and Myra Soles. Mia is the daughter of Scott and Kristen Roe of Cape Girardeau and niece of the bride. Myra is the daughter of Rachel Thomasson and Jeramiah Soles of St. Charles, niece of the groom.
The bride's parents hosted the reception at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 9 at Celebrations Downtown.
Mrs. Thomasson is a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She received double bachelor degrees from St. Louis University and a master's degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a clinical research coordinator with St. Charles Psychiatric Associates.
The groom is a graduate of Mehlville High School in St. Louis, and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a financial services representative with Commerce Bank in Clayton, Mo.
After a wedding trip to St. Maarten and St. Barths, the couple is residing in Richmond Heights, Mo.
