NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- St. Lawrence Catholic Church was the setting for the wedding of Kimberly Michelle Riley and Blake Daniel Burger Feb. 9, 2002. The Rev. Normand Varone performed the double ring ceremony. Eucharist ministers were Russell and Stephanie Burger of New Hamburg, uncle and aunt of the groom, and Jamie Burger of Benton, Mo., uncle of the groom. Reader was Stephanie Burger.
Mass servers were Kristian, Paris and Mark Burger, cousins of the groom. Pianist was Hope Essner of Kelso, Mo., and soloist was Missy Montgomery of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Don and Geri Riley of Blodgett, Mo., and Danny and Pat Burger of New Hamburg.
Maid of honor was Kristina Roslen of Sikeston, Mo. Bridesmaids were Jennifer McNiell of Sikeston; Amanda Gremaud of Cape Girardeau; Lyndsey Mosby of McClure, Ill., sister of the groom; and Kristi Burger of New Hamburg, sister-in-law of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Jessica Riley of Blodgett, sister of the bride.
Matt Burger of New Hamburg served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Donnie Riley of Blodgett, brother of the bride; Heath Burger of New Hamburg, cousin of the groom; Justin Mosby of McClure, Ill., brother-in-law of the groom; and Doug Lynn of Benton. Ushers were Brett and Major Burger of New Hamburg, cousins of the groom.
Candlelighters were Tiffany Glastetter, cousin of the bride, and Heather Burger, cousin of the groom, both of New Hamburg.
Flower girl was Kristi Brucker, daughter of Gary and Bev Brucker of New Hamburg and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Jacob Riley of Blodgett, brother of the bride.
Miniature bride was Summer Burger, daughter of Russell and Stephanie Burger, cousin and godchild of the groom.
Program attendants were Audrey Riley, cousin of the bride, and Vanessa Burger of Benton, cousin of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner and dance was held at St. Lawrence Parish Center. Server was Rhonda Riley, aunt of the bride.
The groom's family hosted the rehearsal dinner Feb. 8 at the parish center.
Mrs. Burger received a bachelor of science degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a first and second grade teacher at St. Denis Catholic School in Benton.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in agri-business from Southeast University. He is a self-employed farmer.
The couple resides in New Hamburg.
