Elizabeth "Kibby" Rau and Nathan Kennon were married July 29, 2006, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville, N.C. John Sims performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Mary Rau of Lake Isabella, Mich., and Jeanette Rau of Mount Pleasant, Mich. The groom is the son of Patricia Maevers of Cape Girardeau and Gary and Linda Kennon of Perryville, Mo.
Matron of honor was Janel Jaessing of Midland, Mich., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Umland of Stevensville, Mont., and Shawntell Mullins of Burlington, Mass., cousins of the bride; Lisa McManus of Chester, S.C., and Dawn Roniger of Mooresville.
John Sacco of Huntersville, N.C., was best man. Groomsmen were Steve Wolfe of Cornelius, N.C., Casey Rau of Lake Isabella, brother of the bride; Jason Milks of Mooresville, and Todd Osborne of Troutman, N.C. Ushers were David Moore of Perryville, cousin of the groom, and Dan Davenport of Mooresville.
Flower girls were Chloe Jaessing of Midland, niece of the bride, and Danielle Osborne of Troutman. Ringbearer was Riley Jaessing of Midland, nephew of the bride.
The reception following the ceremony was held at the Moose Lodge in Mooresville. Another reception was held Aug. 11 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Beal City, Mich.
The rehearsal dinner was held July 28 at the Galway Hooker.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Mooresville.
