GALE, Ill. -- Carrie Marie Prater and Nicholas Earl Reynolds were married June 1, 2002, at the home of the bride's parents. Raymond Oxford performed the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Bill and Harriet Prater of Gale. The groom is the son of Rick and Janice Reynolds of Vienna, Ill., and Joann Sturgeon of Murphysboro, Ill.

The bride's mother was matron of honor.

Best man was Jacob Reynolds of Vienna, brother of the groom. Ushers were Chris Funk of Vienna, brother of the groom, and Roger Norment of Wickliffe, Ky., nephew of the bride.

Flower girls were Christy Kelley of Cape Girardeau, daughter of the bride, and Nicki Reynolds of DeSoto, Ill., daughter of the groom. Ringbearers were Cody Kelley of Gale, son of the bride, and Cody Reynolds of DeSoto, son of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at L&D Patio in McClure, Ill. Servers were Tammy Jones of Wickliffe and Cheryl Fornkohl of Cape Girardeau, sisters of the bride.

Mrs. Reynolds is attending John A. Logan College.

The groom is attending the college, and is with the VA Office and Naval Reserve in Cape Girardeau.

The couple resides in DeSoto.
