Moretta Magdalena Pogue and Tyler Franklin Burk exchanged vows Aug. 16, 2008, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the ceremony. Organist was Betty Ressel and soloist was Renee Reinagel, both of Kelso. Reader was Gina Hileman of Olmsted, Ill.

Tom and Connie Pogue of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Steve and Donna Oldham of Jackson and Gary and Carol Burk of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Laura Eftink of Gordonville. Bridesmaids were Jolene Staggs of Oak Ridge, Alicia McDonald, and Tracy Burk, sister of the groom, both of Cape Girardeau.

Brandon Lohmeier of Maryland Heights, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Cody Farrow, Aaron Eisenhower, and Jason Gibson, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Ben Sample of Cape Girardeau and Nick Steimle of New Hamburg, Mo.

Candlelighters were mothers of the bride and groom.

Deanna and Hailey Crissman of Grand Chain, Ill., attended the guest book.

The reception was held at Drury Lodge. Servers were Sonnie Fulkerson, Shirley Fraser and Jane Stanley of Cape Girardeau, and Barb Limbaugh of Jackson.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 15 at Ray's of Kelso.

Mrs. Burk received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University, and is pursuing a master's degree in nursing at the university. She is a registered nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree in finance from Southeast, and is pursuing a master of science degree in business administraton. He is a credit analyst at US Bank.

After a wedding trip to Savannah, Ga., the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
